Welcome to Selling U! My name is Scott Gillespie and I thank you for stopping by.
The foundation of Selling U is to provide value and service like most have never seen. This blog and my weekly e-Zine are examples of doing just that.
Selling U was created as a result of combining experience with demand. My sales experience spans 12 years and several industries including education, manufacturing and construction with many leadership positions attained in most of them along the way.
From the demand aspect, I’ve seen countless small businesses and start-ups arbitrarily grab a website here, some business cards there and some generic forms of the shelf from their local big box store. Working with these businesses, I develop a personal brand for them that is used to design all of those materials so there is a consistent theme and message that is conveyed through everything they use.
Additionally, I have held various sales training events over the past couple years leading up to Selling U that received very positive feedback and requests from business owners and people in sales for more and more help in the areas of sales and customer service.
A strong desire and drive to continuously help people provides the motivation behind Selling U. It is an incredible feeling seeing someone succeed and knowing that you were there to help.
That feeling applies not only to helping those that are in sales, but also to all of the customers along the way that were able increase their lot by helping them obtain the product or service that I represented. In other words, the harder and smarter we work together, and the better you perform and succeed, the better I feel and the harder I continue to work for you!
